Voting Question: We have been renting a home in Whittier, Ca which has been foreclosed& now auctioned. How much time do we have

We have been here since Sept. the house was auction on july 30 and the company that auctioned will not give us any info... (i understand, we're not the owner) we have 4 kids and I just want to know what to expect... we rec'd notice 3 wks ago and landlord will not answer calls. Does anyone know how much time we will be given to get out? I'm searching for a home or apartment but it takes time.... any help appreciated!! We are on a onth to month...it is a verbal agreement the owner was a friend but we haven't heard anything from him... he owes my husband monney so basically we were to live rent free because he owed us...now we're screwed..... thanks for your help!... read more
